This post contains Amazing affiliate links disclaimer, this post does not contain medical advice, please consult a doctor before changing any medications or using herbs. This is just my experience. Also do not take Valerian Root if pregnant.
Greetings readers! Just wanted to give you a heads up on a product I have used for years for the extra intense times which we seem to have a lot of in March 2020 with quarantine, sickness fears, and all the anxiety with the economy.
Sometimes you need help herbs or nutrition and there is nothing wrong with admitting it. If you have read my other posts, you would know I grew up in a home. where my Mom believed in using herbs before going to a doctor. I have more of a holistic view, but I do believe we do need to depend on more natural methods before we turn to medications, mostly because of all the side effects that you can develop or even addiction. That or you take one medication and have to start to take others so you can you deal with the side effects.
With that in mind, this review is all about Valerian Root. If you do not know much about this, let me enlighten you a bit... Specifically Nature's Sunshine version of this herb.
Most people think that Valerian Root is used to help people sleep, which it is one use for some, however Valerian Root is actually all about calming the nervous system. This helps with your nerves acting up, any anxiety, or stress. Anytime I have an anxiety attack of any kind or just feel on edge, this is my go-to herb to help relieve the anxiety quickly. One reason why I recommend herbs is because they are non-addictive and are not known to cause morning drowsiness.
I personally recommend Nature's Sunshine because they use the highest quality ingredients. They also use chlorophyl capsules that do not harm the body and this particular version is the time release which slowly releases the herbs over a 6-8 hour period.
Anytime I fly, perform a huge music show, or when I feel an anxiety attack of any kind start to come, this is the first thing I take and feel an immediate difference fast.
If you are in dire need, instead of ordering on Amazon, you can usually get another brand's version of Valerian Root at a Walgreens or CVC. Just know the quality isn't as good and I have found it takes longer to take affect as opposed to the Nature's Sunshine.
Try this a few times and feel a major difference. Let me know how it goes.
